  • Total paper recycled Year-to-Date - 317,012 lbs.
  • 22,384 pounds of used computer equipment diverted from landfills in a one-day collection event in September 2008 (computer equipment may contain lead, cadmium and mercury, among other potentially harmful materials).
Monthly Savings by Recycling:
  • 218 trees
  • 45 cubic yds. of landfill
  • 89,979 gallons of water
  • 32 barrels of oil
  • 51,138 kwh of electricity
Year-to-Date Savings by Recycling:
  • 2,695 trees
  • 555 cubic yds. of landfill
  • 1,112,237 gallons of water
  • 396 barrels of oil
  • 632,122 kwh of electricity
